Dr. Metcalf joined the Allen College School of Nursing faculty initially in 2006-2013, then returned in 2017. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Allen College, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Allen College, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Adult Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University, a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Education from Allen College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Allen College, and a Diploma Degree from the Allen Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She is certified an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her teaching responsibilities focus on family medicine, advanced health assessment and advanced pharmacology.
